Albert Hale will talk about the history of dairy farms in Oconee County.  He will tell us how Hale’s Dairy has managed to survive through the economic ups and downs when other dairies were closing.

Albert Hale’s family has lived in Oconee County for many generations. He is present owner of Hale’s Dairy, the only working dairy in Oconee County. He has owned and operated of Hale’s Dairy since 1992, before that he worked with his father at the dairy. The dairy was founded in 1957.
